- Historical Significance: Its primary highlight is its deep historical roots, commemorating the approximately 400 Chinese residents of Kampung Sungai Lui who were victims of a massacre by Japanese forces on October 8, 1942. This makes it a crucial site for understanding the Japanese occupation's impact on our region.

Nov 09, 2019 · CY LeeLocated on the side of the road in Felda Sungai Lui in Jempol district, Negeri Sembilan and not far from the Pahang border (Kemayan town is only 5 KM).This small memorial actually holds the story of the Second World War. It tells the story of the massacre by the Japanese army when the Japanese first entered Malaya. More than 700 people who were mostly innocent Chinese were brutally killed.
