Apr 09, 2025 · Hysa GuarteHad a fantastic 4-day, 3-night stay at Upstairs Downstairs! Got a double bed room with a window, and it had everything I needed—smart TV, personal fridge, hair blower, and a hot & cold shower. The sleek design and comfortable space made it a great place to relax. The location is perfect, right in the city center, and the free self-service laundry was a huge plus. Loved the neon-lit common area and the spacious hallways. The price is also decent and relatively cheaper than other options in the area. Definitely worth it!
Mar 07, 2025 · Verge Gamotan JrThe only positive point is the location. The rooms feel like prison cells — poorly maintained, with no windows and absolutely no comfort. There’s zero service from the staff: no welcome, no explanations, they just hand you the keys without even looking at you.During my 5-day stay, the only one towel were never changed and toilet paper was never restocked. There’s no power outlet near the bed, no adapter available, and the room can’t be ventilated at all. Imagine spending five days in a room you can’t even air out.The bedding is uncomfortable, the kitchen is dirty, and the water dispenser doesn’t even provide cold water. And the cherry on top? The cleaner blasting loud music in the hallways at dawn while working. Early. In the morning. What an hotel !Would definitely not recommend.
Apr 13, 2025 · PimpreBeen there on April 2025. First impression the location was good because it just walking distance to Bukit Bintang area, but other than that, all was very bad.The staff who responsible to give and collect the key room was impolite. But thats not the big thing, the worst is about the building. The floor and the wall is very thin. Even very small steps and next room tv sound will be heard into the room. You need to tap the key room whenever you enter the room isle which make it difficult for mobility. The cleanliness of the room is okay but the size is very small. Thank to the kitchen, foosball and comfy area in ground level area to give some useless good things. In the end, I preferred to accept the loss of 1.5 million rupiah (USD90) because I had already booked a room and decided to move to a much better hotel even though it was more expensive. This is one the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life.
Jun 09, 2025 · Andreas Wijaya4 stars – better than my own house!Stayed here for a one nights and honestly… I didn’t want to leave. The bed? Comfier than my ex’s promises. Room was clean, AC cold like my love life, and yes – there’s Netflix. I spent more time watching shows than exploring Bukit Bintang (which is literally just around the corner).WiFi fast enough to stream, scroll, and stalk people without lag. Staff were friendly – one even smiled like they knew I needed that emotional support.Would I stay here again? 100% yes. Might even move in if they let me.
