Sungai Lembing Town Area is conveniently located in the Kuantan district of Pahang, Malaysia. Specifically, you'll find it at Sungai Lembing, 26200 Sungai Lembing, Pahang. It's approximately 42 kilometers northwest of Kuantan, making it a manageable drive for a day trip or a weekend getaway for locals in the region.
Getting to Sungai Lembing is relatively straightforward. If you're driving, the journey from Kuantan typically takes just under an hour, offering scenic views as you approach the town. For those relying on public transport, you can take a local bus (such as bus number 500) from the Kuantan bus terminal directly to Sungai Lembing. Once you arrive in Sungai Lembing, the town itself is quite walkable. Many of the main attractions, including the Sungai Lembing Museum and the charming main street, are within easy reach on foot. However, for those looking to explore attractions further afield, such as the Rainbow Waterfall or Panorama Hill, it's advisable to arrange for local transport, often in the form of 4x4 vehicles, as some roads can be challenging. A helpful tip from a past visitor: if you're heading to the famous beancurd and noodle shop at Kg Kolong Pahat, it's better to park along Jalan Sg Lembing and cross the river using the two bridges rather than attempting to drive down Lor Pahat, which is very narrow and difficult for U-turns.

Sungai Lembing Town Area Reviews
It has retained its yesteryear feel and vibe. Had a coffee at the hawker centre, which was reminiscent of the 1970s. There are plenty of places to take photos along the main street and side streets. The Museum of Sg Lembing is also worth a visit. Many old machines are on display and the mining process is recreated.P/S: Not advisable to drive along Lor Pahat to the beancurd and noodle shop at Kg Kolong Pahat. It was very narrow and difficult to U-turn out. It's better to park along Jalan Sg Lembing and cross the river with two bridges to walk to Kg Kolong Pahat.
