Tingkap Cafe Reviews
Nice spot to grab light breakfast especially after a hike at bukit gasing. Mainly a lot of options for nasi lemak and kuih here. The cara lauk is really good but onde onde could have bit better. Felt like the gula melaka hasn't melted yet. Biscoff cake was nice as wellAlso if you're into it, they sell the famous fizzy drink from Melaka here which is usually quite hard to find in KL.
Apr 12, 2025 · Sheldon VinsentWe had the lontong, ubi kayu rebus, satay, and nasi lemak biasa — all were flavorful and satisfying, combined with the charming old-school ambience and reasonable prices, Tingkap Cafe made for a delightful and nostalgic dining experience
May 01, 2025 · aj ajThe manager is very friendly. The staff still got a lot more to learn from him. Food is tasty but not hot enough. Portion is slightly smaller than usual. Environment and decoration is cozy with 'kampung' feel, comfortable to me. Many stuff not available in the late afternoon, so should come in the morning if you're craving for kerabu.
May 11, 2025 · wuinsNot much more i can say that is different from the other reviewers here. The nostalgic feel of this shop is superb. I love the food. Truly lots of Malay food choices as they have expanded their menu over the last year. Happy to see the crowd here compared to when i first came for the first time more than a year ago. Hope these sort of curated Malay restaurants continue to bloom in PJ.
Mar 09, 2025 · Shazman IsaWe went to this cafe after hiking at Bukit Gasing. What we order:1. Satay2. Nasi Kerabu3. Nasi Ayam Goreng4. DrinksThe Nasi Kerabu is very dry, meat is dry, and the vegetables are too little. Satay rm1.50 each, but the meat is too lean. Very hard to eat. Overall not satisfied with the food, but we enjoy the environment and services.
